About JBM

Marsha Yoskowitz has been in the jewelry business long enough to remember when people dressed up to go shopping. That was 1981, when she and her husband Marty started the business in Miami and began doing what they have done every day since: helping people find the right piece for the right moment.

They are still at it.

The store is in Aventura, on Biscayne Boulevard, open five days a week. Their son Jason, who spent years in finance in New York before earning his GIA certification and coming back to South Florida, works alongside them. It is, in the truest sense, a family business.

Over forty years, the clientele has become something like family too. People come in for engagement rings and return years later with their children. They bring in pieces to be reset, photos of rings worn by grandmothers, ideas half-formed that need a patient ear and a practiced eye. The staff knows their names. Sometimes they know their stories.

The collection, online and in-store, is curated carefully and kept current. There are pieces at many price points. The philosophy has always been that the right piece reveals itself when you're not being hurried toward it. Custom work is a specialty, for those who want something that doesn't exist yet.

The diamonds and gemstones are ethically sourced. That matters to the family, and so they make it a condition of doing business.

The online store was built to offer the same experience as walking through the door: unhurried, personal, worth your time.
